After attending the CFME fluid machinery exhibition in Shanghai from October 21 to 23, 2026, Lihua Titanium did not simply continue talking about the event. We returned to the product itself and looked at one titanium flange from an engineering perspective.
For equipment manufacturers, engineering contractors, and technical purchasing teams, the real question is not only whether a flange is available. It is whether the component can enter the equipment, pipeline, and project site accurately and perform its intended connection and sealing function.

Three points are especially important:
When customers request a quotation, they often start with a material grade, dimensions, quantity, and delivery date. These are necessary inputs, but they do not define the complete product requirement.
The flange may connect to a pump, valve, pipeline, or other equipment. The service medium, pressure, temperature, and operating pattern determine how the product should be selected, manufactured, and inspected. Two flanges with the same nominal size may require different technical attention when they work in different environments.
A project inquiry should clarify at least the following:
The clearer the service conditions, the more accurately the product can be defined. A clear product definition supports more stable manufacturing and delivery.

A flange is one component in a larger connection system. It works together with pipes, valves, pump bodies, gaskets, and bolts to provide connection and sealing.
Looking only at the flange price while ignoring the complete connection can turn a single purchase into a future maintenance issue.
The face type, machining condition, and surface quality affect how the flange works with the gasket and the paired component.
Outside diameter, inside diameter, thickness, bolt holes, hole spacing, and center positioning must correspond to the connected equipment.
Fasteners, gaskets, insulation, and the surrounding connection environment may all influence long-term performance.
Consistent specifications, identification, and technical documents make spare-part replacement and repeat purchasing easier.
A single purchase may be evaluated by price. Long-term use should also be evaluated by compatibility, stability, and total operating cost.
Finishing the machining process does not necessarily mean that delivery is complete.
For equipment manufacturers, engineering projects, and repeat-order customers, the product must also be identifiable, inspectable, and traceable. Traceability should run through material confirmation, production, process inspection, final inspection, packing, and shipment.
It is not simply a mark placed on the product or a group of documents collected at the last minute.
The factory delivers a physical flange. The customer receives a result that can be checked against the agreed requirements.

The common objective is simple: the customer should know what service conditions the flange is intended for, which requirements it meets, and which checks have been completed.
A titanium flange begins its real operating responsibility after it leaves the factory. It must connect, seal, and work as part of the equipment system.
Lihua Titanium focuses not only on whether a flange can be machined, but also on whether it can be completed accurately according to the drawing and technical requirements; whether key dimensions and inspection items are confirmed before shipment; and whether the customer can find the supporting basis during receiving, installation, acceptance, and future maintenance.
For a quotation or technical review, please provide as much of the following as possible:
The more complete the information, the more accurately the project can be confirmed and the more smoothly quotation, manufacturing, and delivery can proceed.
